By a sunny afternoon in the middle of Manhattan, during NYFW SS2020, I had the chance to attend the unusual presentation of the up and coming fashion designer Carter Young. In a hip bar, with music and good drinks, we got to see the newest collection unfold before our eyes.
It's not a surprise, fashion is a medium of expression. Not a game changer here, right? The clothes we wear, the makeup we put on (or purposely not wearing it), the accessories we love, they all add up to build the image we want to project. That may support our personality, or sometimes even give us this confidence boost to fully be ourselves in this everyday battle that is life. Then, what about adding art to it?

Something very interesting is coming up in June in Montreal. From June 20th to June 22nd, it's the Start up Fashion Week! Normally held in Toronto, Canada; this year they decided to switch metropolis and to jump to the Montreal market. Because - hell yes - Montreal is indeed a very stylish city!
